A Little about Karen Ann Teeters and Green Living Zone

Living lightly on planet earth is a choice everyday and its not something that becomes a habit overnight. I am in my mid fifties and find that as I read and self educate and interact that my ideas about life and what is really important are always being modified. I am always learning.

I am a very straight-forward person and my approach is to listen for and share the truth with kindness and compassion.  Looking for the creative challenges and creations that each day brings motivates me to get up in the morning.

I had been in corporate sales for over 25 years before I became self-employed as an online entrepreneur and writer. My success in the corporate world was through listening and developing trust in relationships and always delivering more than I promised. The same approach has worked well for me as a business owner in the last few years. During my career, I have taught in the public school system and for adult evening programs. I am an idealist in that I look for the highest potential in individuals. And I look for practical and creative ways to share and write about what I have learned.

Each person’s effort to live sustainably, peacefully, simply on this planet earth will be expressed in a unique manner. We are interdependent of each other and I believe to survive on this planet and to survive as a race that the majority of us need to take action now in whatever way we can as individuals.

It provides information and questions to help anybody get started on their own personal journey to change and live sustainably through social, economic and environmental efforts.
