<description>Thank you for the enthusiastic comment about organic gardening. My Italian grandfather was a great proponent of organic gardening back before it was fashionable. He had a huge corner lot in the suburbs of Woodbury NJ and a full one quarter of it was turned into a very large garden full of the best tasting organic corn, peppers, lettuce, cabbage and even a few wine grape vines! He subscribed to Organic Gardening and Prevention magazines and always lived a healthy life. I even lived with my grandfather and grandmother for a while while I commuted to Glassboro College and he always made the best, fresh dinners and meals for me.

So did that experience turn me into an organic gardener? No, not really. We used to put organic tomato and pepper plants out in huge pots on the deck but in recent years the over growth of trees have made our deck too shady for needed sun. So now I buy organic fruits and veggies and pass along terrific articles for those who can grow organic in their own yards. Happy organic gardening to you!
